(Untitled I)
We are water
A machine
And I, a working piece,
Have been moved quite a ways
That’s how I know there’s waves
(Untitled II)
It never happened for a minute
Chains of remade memories
Collect the better half of me
To present me to reality
Sticking my sick and sorry face in it
Discomposure in a place of comfort
Skin at unease, stomach encumbered
Eyes far and unaware, remembered
Stare down the loud sun’s dawning notion
Stagnant as the lead impedes
Slow and steady, weight recedes
Finding parts of me I need
To set the sudden day in motion
I need to set the day in motion
