Women in Music: A Conversation with Christen Morrell

We caught up with singer, songwriter, and producer, Christen Morrell, who is studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Her latest single, Leave Me Wanting More, is available on Spotify. Although she writes and performs her own music, this is the first time she also co-produced a single.

“I love how women are uniting and breaking boundaries. Great female artists like Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Beyonce, and Lizzo are promoting empowerment, complete self-love, and just being total bosses. I’m also really excited for the women interested in Music Technology. I’m currently involved in a mentorship program at Berklee College of Music called She Knows Tech. This program is female-run and teaches female students how to use Ableton for producing, live performances, or in engineering in the studios.”
